A couple more questions re: AVLD.

1) Understanding that it's ultimately up to the GM to decide for his/her campaign what constitutes a "limited form of the Power's standard defense," in general, would you consider something like an Energy RKA AVLD vs. ED Force Field to be worth the lesser +3/4 Advantage, or the full +1 1/2 base cost of AVLD? Which would you counsider to be the correct assigned value for, say, a character being published in one of the official books?

2) Offhand I can't recall of any examples of the + 3/4 AVLD in the published characters/examples. Are there any?

3) If a character had an AVLD KA (let's say energy in this case) with the Does BODY Advantage, and the assigned Limited Defense was ED Force FIeld, if that character attacked someone with an ED Force Field, would normal ED also count against the STUN damage done by the AVLD KA, the way normal defenses apply to STUN inflicted by normal KAs? In other words, is that property innate to all KAs, or would the normal rules of Resistant Defense + Normal Defense applying to STUN from KAs not apply in the case of AVLD?

Thanks in advance, as always.

1. I'd rather not speculate as to what I would or wouldn't put in a book, since that may depend on context, the campaign being depicted, and other such factors. I'm sure there are settings where +3/4 would be appropriate, but others where I would prefer +1½.

2. Offhand, I can't think of any, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some. I know there are some NNDs at +½ following the same rule.

3. If a character has an AVLD that Does BODY, only the defined defense protects against STUN and BODY damage. Other forms of defense offer no protection at all.
