Since Steve is out at a Con this week, and since there are five Fridays in October, we'll just release DH#24 next week.
In it, you'll get Steve's column on movement powers, Jason's take on Calamity Jane, a Champions adventure from Scott Bennie, bully martial arts from Ross Watson, and a large supervillain team from Denver Mason.

Thanks for the update on that.
I'll just set my ulcer to simmer until then and wait for the reviews ;)

I saw a pre-release copy, and all the stuff is pretty good except for the article by "Denver Mason" (obviously a psueodnym -- who would name their kid "Denver Mason" afterall?), which sucked epically.
Just kidding Hermit :eg:

Thank goodness I take my heart pills before reading stuff like that :p

I also saw a pre-release copy, and I can't say that it was pretty good. I'd say parts of it outright rocked. In fact, I'm not just whistling Dixie when I say that people are going to be singing Denver Mason's praises. I'll also note that his group is sure to be the instrument of many hero groups' doom.

Okay, when BoloOfEarth the might-as-well-be official reviewer of DH says that, it really does cheer me up. :) thank you.
Lest I seem too self absorbed (Too late, I know...) folks, this issue is going to rock. Scott Bennie wrote an adventure for it that is just... Yikes (But in a good way). There is also a martial art in the issue I plan on giving at least one NPC in a HEROcentral game I'm in. :eg:
And as always, the "You've got to have Character" article is fascinating.
Oh, and this Steve Long guy gives some tips or somewhich.

Well, it needed to be done. Horror World from Champs-in-3D was just too light and fluffy. :-)
But I thought, discounting my contribution, it was a very good issue. Champions fans should be pretty happy this time around.

Denver Mason ? Sounds like a guy who carves stone in Colorado.
But it is better than being Denver Pyle....

And much better than Gomer Pyle. :)
