Spell Caster needs help

Help with a spell:

Life support: (19 points worth),

The characters magic requires all powers to cost end to cast and must have duel casting (End Reserve/END)

The tricky part is this: I want the spell to last 1 hour, and IMO Uncontrolled is not priced right for this ability.

Now I am attempted to just say Costs End to activate and hand wave the rest (essentialy give it uncontrolled for free) as he has the minor limitation that the power needs to be recast once per hour...

It sounds like you're going to go for the hand-wave anyway. ;)

Still, 1 Continuing Charge of 1 Hour, Recoverable (recovered at end of hour), Costs Endurance only to activate, is rules legal. Maybe cheesy, but legal.

In the current build of Hero Designer, the above works out to a +0 advantage and a -1/4 limit. IMO, it should be more like a +1/4 advantage and a -1/4 limit.

I know about that issue, and in truth I am a little bit of a fence sitter on it. It makes no sense for an ability normaly persistant to cost more because it is minorly limited (by taking just continous charges) but now we are throwing in a little bit of a curve ball here with the Costs Endurance only to activate (BTW have you ever noticed you get more than -1/2 worth of lims for taking this particular -1/4 lim: The actual END cost, Non-persistant, Visible)

Like I said the issue is complex for me...
