5th Revised release?

Just a thought, but perhaps it would be worthwhile to designate a day or weekend as a 5th revised release "event" where legion members are nudged into running a game at the local game shop. Probably a week after 5R is due to the east coast stores might be a good plan.

Admittedly I grabbed the idea from the DnD 30th anniversary "game day" scheduled for this saturday. Isn't HERO about 20 years old now?

Assuming you date from the release of Champions in 1981, the HERO System will have its 25th anniversary in 2006. We'll have to plan something special. ;)

I think that planning a promo day for the 5ER release is a good idea. Once I have a more precise release date, I'll give it some more thought.

I'd be all for running a game at my local shoppe, but my hope is that 5ER will be on newsstands by Nov 19-21 (U*Con (http://www.ucon-gaming.org)).

I am putting together a set of cards which summarizes the options from the Champions Random Hero Generator. Would it be okay to post those here when they are done. I'm using them in my 2-hour "Be a Hero" demos.
