Partial Hardened Defense & Penetrating

Bonjour,

How to manage partial Hardened Defense vs Armor Piercing or Penetrating Advantage ?
It's quite clear for Armor Piercing, the full Hardened Defense and Half of the non Hardened Defense apply, but for Penetrating advantage ?
