Is anyone else jonesin' for new superhero miniatures? I repainted a beeyotch-load of Hero Clix, but their freakishly large combatdial thingies take up a hex and a half.
As a side note: I offer the prize of twenty Slim Jims and a can of Mountain Dew to the person who can make a cool figure out of T.O. Morrow. What a craphound that loser is.

You can use a hobby knife to take the Heroclix minis off of their bases and zap-a-gap (or any other type of superglue) to glue them on regular sized bases available at any hobby shop.
There are also a few companies who offer pewter superhero minis on the web.

Obviously, you aren't aware of my motor skills. My girlfriend hid all the sharp objects in the house to save on Band-Aids.

So simple even I can do it. Of course the completed heroclix are not nearly as cool as the modified ones I've seen all over the web.
You know, I actually tried to modify T. O. Morrow! I snipped the beaker form his hand, used an xacto to remove part of his hair, added a bunch of "green stuff" to his head to give him long hair instead, and painted him up more like some cyberpunk gangleader type. Looks like crap, but yards better than the original ;)

My attempt at modifying T.O Morrow resulted in what looked like an Elvis loving dockworker in a Matrix coat. But I believe the first step of any figure will be to snip off that crappy beaker.

I turned mine into Dr, Clayton Forrester from Mystery Science Theatre 3000. I'm not familiar with the Morrow character, what's with those galoshes?

No one is famillar with the Morrow character. Even Mr. and Mrs Morrow wouldn't buy comics with T.O. in them. I still can't understand why such a craptacular villian gets a Clix and Deathstroke the Terminator doesn't.

TO MORROW is a small time Scientific genius, most remarkable for inventing the Red tornado.
As for why such a crap villain was placed in instead of a "cool" one is simple, they want to keep a few cool guys for expansions

I usually go the cardboard heroes route and photocopy appropriate illustrations at greatly reduced size. I've got some old figures from a SpaceGamer issue to use as templates.

Thanks for the links. Of course, now I'll spend the rent on "little metal guys" and my girlfriend will beat me.

A simple conversion of TO Morrow. Not the coolest, but workable.
He's T.O. Morrow body with a Blizzard
head and thug's feet. Plus some sculpting for the cuffs, hat and
hair.

So far Tom's Question is the leader. I hope you like Slim Jims!
