It has been a year since FREd was released and started showing up in the stores (I'm pretty sure I got mine April 5th last year). I just wanted to wish FREd a happy birthday, it has been a great year.

Hard to believe it's only been a year. So much has happened in that time; being a HERO gamer is a very different experience now from what it was at this time a year ago. You can walk into a game store, ask for the Hero Games section, and not face blank stares or scornful laughter. Well, barring the occasional ignorant cretin; why do so many of those end up as gamestore clerks?

Take a long draught of that FREd 2002: an excellent vintage.

Party Hats for everyone. I wonder if anyone is going to provide cake.

In any case, Happy 1st FREd.

Shucks, I forgot to get FREd a gift...

It has truly been a great year to be a HERO gamer. :)

TIna you have fallen victim to one of the classic blunders.

1- Don't get involved in a land war in Asia.
2- Don't go up against the Sicilian when death is on the line.
3- Don't anounce nefarious plots outloud.

Better luck next year.

Very true, that.

Sadly, I know that I myself don't frequest the Non-Gaming Forum due to some of the intense Non-Gaming discussions that have occurred there.

It's not your fault, ChaosDragon. You be kewl, despite our lack of interest in you. ;)

Yeah, don't let it get you down. I post on the Non Gaming board myself, entire threads can vanish in a flurry of other threads firing rapidly. I lost a few myself that way ;)

To all those great fellows at DOJ who gave birth to FREd. Thank you for a really marvelous year of Hero Goodies.

Take your time to celebrate.:)

Happy belated birthday FReD!!!

Wow, what a change from the past. I don't think I ever bought so many game books in one year...
