I searched for this topic and found nothing, so pardon if this is asked and answered.

I notice that when I export a vehicle that the DEF of said vehicle does not get printed to the character sheet. All the stats are there, but there is an obvious blank spot where DEF should appear. Is this a known bug? I think I could see why it is happening since DEF is not a stat displayed on normal character sheets- that would be PD and ED.

I hear that a vehicle template is being developed, which is great, don't get me wrong- but what about in the meantime? Do we just go in and alter the current sheet and manually put in the DEF? I suppose that's a solution, it's just clunkier than I would expect (no offense intended, I love HD).

Welll...there _is_ a Vehicle export template available. Just go to the Free Stuff section to grab it.

That said, I am intending to write a more "character-sheet" styled template....just as soon as I have time. This will likely be in the not-too-distant-future, though if someone else beats me to it, they're more than welcome ;-)

The "Default Character Sheet" export template sounds like what you're using, which is not the best idea, as it was designed for characters, not vehicles. You can make it work, if you like, with just a little "hack" by inserting the DEF stat into the template. If done like the other stats, it will only print out when DEF is available (on vehicles, in other words).
