Hello,

The area is not computed when a naked power is created with the area effect adavantage.
It's always 2'' line or 1'' Radius (for a line or Radius advantage), whatever is the base cost.

Thanks

I'll give this some thought and see what I can do for the next update.

The problem is that the area isn't necessarily valid, even if based off of the "base points" of the Naked Modifier. The way Naked Modifiers are defined, they can be applied on Powers up to the max points alotted to the Naked Modifier.

This means that if you bought AOE as a Naked Modifier on up to 60 points of Powers, you could apply it to a 12d6 Energy Blast (getting a 6" radius), two 6d6 Energy Blasts (getting a 3" radius on each), etc.

What I think the best solution may be is to simply leave off the radius from the description when AOE is bought as a Naked Modifier.....

Thoughts?

If you could have it say 'up to x" radius' (or something similar) that would be my ideal solution, basing it off the maximum active points you're applying the naked advantage to. Otherwise I'd go with leave it off - it's less confusing than an incurrect or apparently 'fixed' number ("but Mr. GM - why can't I fire with 1d6 attack with a 32" radius?").

I agree with Mavnn.

As an other exemple, you display 10d6 for 50 STR in, characteristic. But you can use partially the strength.

I think it's better to display the max area of the power than a wrong info.
