I've read the doc that talks about converting old hero creator files to hero designer. It mentions a hd.flt file in your Hero Designer folder. I recently bought the downloadable Windows version and installed it normally (as well as patching it to 2.38). The program works great but I can't find this file anywhere. Is there a place I can download it from? Is it just a fluke that my install seems to not have installed it? Please advise.
Cheers,
Sylvan

It's available about half-way down on the HERO Designer v1 Export Templates download page, here (http://www.herogames.com/FreeStuff/Hero%20Designer/export%20templates/index.jsp).
Funny, I never noticed that v2.0 doesn't seem to install this file.

Great. Thanks!
Although, I recommend you include this file in the HD2 install process or amend the help file to point them to a place where they can get it. :)

Not sure how clean it'll be, but you can use creation workshop to convert Heromaker to Hero Creator, then convert to HD. This also assumes you have access to Hero Creator.
