View Full Version : Why would you...?

I was reading the Vampire Description in Fantasy Hero and I noticed his bite attack is built as RKA with no range. I was stumped as to why this would be. I thought it might be so that Str is not figured into the damage (I don't agree with that logic, but whatever) but if that were the case, why not by HKA with the "No Str" limitation?
Any ideas?

It looks like they'd cost the same just glacing at the HERO rulebook. I don't know why it was written up that way, but you're always free to make any changes that would suit you.

6 of 1.
HKA: No Str (-1/2)
RKA: No Range (-1/2)
It usually comes down to personal preference. I tend to go the RKA No Range route myself. I think it might also have something to do with when you started playing Hero. I know that No Range has been a normal everyday limitation for a long time and the No Strength Added, while always available as a custom lim, is a bit newer.
