Any chance there will be copies on hand?

I ask because they have not yet arrived here locally in SoCal, and if it's unlikely they'll make it to the con, I'll continue to visit my two FLGS. But if it's going to be there, I'll lay off the clerk who's undoubtedly tired of me asking "Is it here yet? Is it here yet?"

(I'm not getting my recommended daily allowance of 5er)

As of last night's chat, Darren was still hopeful that 5er would be at the con. Apparently, some were being shipped directly to the con.

I talked with Darren an hour or so ago, and the books have officially shipped. He expects to get his first look at them at the con tomorrow.

Just to let people know -- 5er exists!!! I've held one in my hands! They will be available here at Gen Con So Cal starting tomorrow.

I am saddened then that I will not be able to attend. After paying my rent this morning it turns out I probably could not afford both admission to GenCon AND the book itself. I'll have to hit the local store. Unless you can convince them to move GenCon to Monday when I get paid...

Hehe... DAMN! I'd have done that too! But I was at my game and a birthday party since noon so I didn't see this. Just as well... After paying my share of an outrageously expensive dinner and the gift, I have $2 now 'til Monday.
