resistant mental defense

My character, Thermal, has 20 points of hardened, resistant mental defense (part of a power called "too dumb to care"; he's a brick, as you might suspect).

However, when I print this out, the export template (any of them) is adding the resistant MD to the regular MD, and displaying that I have 40 points of mental defense.

This would appear to be a bug, though I realize that resistant (and hardened) mental defense is not terribly common. Am I doing something wrong?

Resistant MD _does_ apply to normal Mental Attacks as well. If you have 20 MD and purchase +20 MD, Hardened, Resistant then the printout <i>should</i> read 40 MD.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're purchasing, it sounds like things are working fine....

To be clear (because this would be a pretty big deal if what you're saying is right), I bought this as two powers:

Too Dumb To Notice: +17 Mental Def. (20 points total), Hardened (+1/4) (Real Cost: 22)

and

Too Tough To Care: Damage Resistance (20 PD/20 ED/20 Mental Def./15 Flash Def.) (Real Cost: 37)

So, this would amount to 40 points of mental defense? Does that mean that there's no such animal as "resistant mental defense"? Or does that mean that, unlike PD, ED and flash defense, the resistant mental defense is additive to regular mental defense?

Ah..I had misunderstood what you were purchasing.

That is, as you correctly surmised, a bug. The export process isn't totalling the mental defense properly (obviously).

I've got that fixed and will include the fix in the next update.
