I am wondering what font (or something that looks similar) is used for the titles and authors on the covers of the Champions Universe line.
Why you ask? I have been slowing converting old villians to 5th, as well as adaptions (or reimaginings to use the hollywood term) of V&V, Gurps supers, M&M, BoH, and SAS characters, I print them up using the WG output from hero designer, and all I am missing is a cover, and being A-R as I am, I want to match fonts. *breath*

Anyway thanks for any help.

The font their using for the Champion's Titles is ComiCrafts TheStorySoFar (http://www2.comicbookfonts.com/e/env/0001Ca0EncKlaTASgY2f842/search.html?link=/fonts/DL/catalog.html&item=fonts:dl216) a $49 font.

While not willing to send the font to you I would be willing to come up with it in Photoshop or as a jpg so you can paste it onto your cover title. Just need to know what you want it to look like.

If you're a font junkie:
Comic Book Fonts (http://www.comicbookfonts.com) Various costs, sometimes free for personal use
Best Fonts (http://www.simplythebest.net/fonts) All Free, various licences
Blambot (http://www.blambot.com/menu.html) Free and not so free

You might be able to find a close match. :D

My personal favorite:

Font Freak (http://fontfreak.com)

Sometimes the "feel" for a font, just from looking at it, will give me an idea for a character, organization, alien race, or something.

Anyone have a suggestion for a really good Font creator program? TIA!

Or..Like this?

Size and everything can be changed, just a quick mockup.

As for font program, everyone swears on fontogapher(sp). Also suggest (if you can find it) picking up ComiCraft's guide to Lettering.
