I currently do most of my character design using a set of Excel worksheets. However I have been thinking about purchasing Hero Designer since It looks pretty cool and much more functional.

I do a lot of character design on my home computer but, when I travel, I load everything on my lap top and use it pretty extensively as well. I don't look forward to shelling out the cash for two copies of the program. Would I need to purchase two copies of Hero Designer? Or would one copy allow me to run it on both machines?

One copy will allow you to run on both machines.

Hi Eddy,

Having used excel spreadsheets (some yours), Hero Creator and Hero Designer I can tell you that Designer is a good deal.

While it will not let you do everything like a spreadsheet will it will allow you to do a lot and what you can not do in a standard power you can always do in a custom power.

The real down side is that Mr. Simon does not update it very often ;)

Peace
Bryan

PS look out for you upcoming game… things are going to get rough….

Cool, I'll order a copy this afternoon when I get home (I'm typing this from work during lunch).

Hi, Brian good to know you're still around.:)

Good deal let me know if you like it. Still not playing much Champions here. Tulsa is not much of a role playing town. But I can catch a game of magic or 40k any time.

Peace
