The Gaming Report site (http://www.gamingreport.com) has started a new feature -- top 10 lists.

I'm posting this notice because the first such list is "Top 10 Favorite Superhero RPGs". Folks might want to hope over there and vote for Champions -- especially apropos in the middle of the Origin Awards write-in campaign currently being organized, as Champions is one of the products HERO has asked us to support. I believe it can't hurt to put the Champions name in front of gamers, and this seems one way to accomplish that.

When you get to the site, look to the right hand gutter, second item down for the voting link.

Champions, M&M, SAS (tri-stat), SAS (d20), Heroes Unlimited, GURPS Supers, Aberrant, Brave New World, Marvel Superheroes, Marvel SAGA, DC Heroes, DC Universe, Bood of Heroes, Godlike, Godsend Agenda, Golden Heroes, Super World, Foundation, Guardians, Vigilance: Absolute Power, Heroic Visions, Deeds Not Words, Heroes & Heroines, and Enforcers. Well, that is all I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are several more though.

By the Ghost of FGU, I can't believe you forgot Villains and Vigilantes, Mon. You remembered Heroes Unlimited and Foundation, but forgot ol' V&V.

Next thing you know, he'll forget about Flying Buffalo Games, or that "Duck" was a valid character race in Runequest. Poor guys gettin' old on us...

;)

May Jeff and Jack forgive me for my transgression. Only a fool would forget V&V! I think I must chalk it up to a two day hangover though. Tuesday was my wedding anniversary, and I still have not mentally recovered from it. :)

Hear that?... No? Press your ear closer to the computer screen. That's me opening a still shrink-wrapped copy of Villains and Vigilantes. I bought it in a gamestore a few months ago, unopened, and I've been resisting opening it, since I have my old copy from decades ago.

Heh...the dice edges are so sharp you could cut yourself on them. Didn't remember it came with Crisis at Crusader Citadel.

Heck, let me take a picture....

No way! I don't remember there being V&V figures.
Check out the promo from 1982. This is a photo, not a scan, so it's not all that crisp.

UnSanctioned and Supermegatopia are two more that come to mind.

I have Crisis at Crusader Citadel. I like some of the Goons in there like Mocker, The Mercury Mercenary, FIST and Shrew.

And I voted.
Champions first.

"SuperZarney! And is HE irate! I'd better zap him with my red laser before he cracks a pun!"
>ZAP<
"You missed me! Gee, for a Communist, you're not much of ..."

If you can fill in the ..., you've either a good sense of punmanship, or you've got the First Edition of V&V. ;)

Ooh Ooh! And Underground from Mayfair Games. A superhero world where Rush Limbaugh is Vice President of the United States.
