Hi, I'm having trouble tracking down a copy of the UNTIL Superpowers Database in the UK. My normal trusty retailers don't have any and don't seem to think they'll be able to get any - the word on the street is that their distributor(s) are out of stock...

Is this book still in print and widely available? If so, anyone know how I can get my mitts on a copy in the UK?

Thanks,

As I recall, it's currently out of print. There will be an updated version, though -- it's listed as "early 2005".

We're currently out of stock on the USPD, though copies are still floating around out there in some hobby stores and such, I'm sure.

We're planning to published a slightly revised version shortly. Since we're moving the book to another printer, we can take the opportunity to correct typos/errata and change any powers that need changing in light of the publication of 5ER.

For those of you who already own the USPD and don't want to buy a whole new book to get the corrections, any USPD power we alter will appear in an Appendix to The UNTIL Superpowers Database II, which is also on the short-term publication schedule.

roch,
I don't own it myself, but I believe that there is a HeroDesigner Character Pack for the USPD. Based on the nature of the book (which I do own) I think that the HeroDesigner pack would be almost exactly the same.
Of course, that would be based on you owning HeroDesigner in the first place.

Just a suggestion,

KA.

Travelling Man in Leeds had one last time I was in - but that was before Christmas. 0113 242 7227 if you want to phone them to check or mail-order, or http://www.travellingman.com if you want to try ordering online.

Thanks for everyone's input on this - the level of support on this forum certainly encourages me to get on with writing my first adventure for Hero... and to make the group fanatical converts :) (Heck, after D&D, Exalted, and GURPS 4e, they've got to be ready for it - right?)

Given what Steve says, I think I'll hold off until the revised edition is available before throwing the (extradimensional) kitchen sink at the players...

Thanks again,
