Has anyone had any luck getting 5er rebound? I dropped mine the other day and the back binding completely split
I have seen some other RPG books spiral bound at Kinkos but I didn't know if it was too thick....

The original HC BBB was notorious for falling apart. I split it with a razor, three-hole punched it, and bound it that way. Much more useful actually than having an actual book

I have seen some other RPG books spiral bound at Kinkos but I didn't know if it was too thick....They could definitely do it, but it might actually be easier to use if they didn't. I had one copy of 5ER done this way, and I had them bind it in two sections... Character Creation (pages 1-346) and Everything Else (pages 347-592). I think they're easier to handle than a single big book would be.

Many universities require doctoral theses to be permanently bound, so if you live in a college town there should be a good chance there is a book binder there. You might also check with your local library to see if they know of one.
We have a good bookbinder here and his prices were quite reasonable last time I had something bound; IIRC around $10 for a book the size of 5er. I've a half dozen books he's rebound for me.
