Hi Dan,

I just updated (to 1.32 actually) and checked my export (I'm using the "HTML - 3 Page Qelan" export template) and it is still displaying my MD as 40, despite the fact that it's only 20, with 20 points of resistance added separately.

Not complaining, just updating. Thanks again for all your endless toils. :)

Please show me how you're building the defenses again. If possible, post the character.

When I build a character with 20 Mental Defense and Damage Resistance (10 PD/10 ED/20 Mental Defense), the export shows him as having 20 Mental Defense (correct).

Hi Dan,

I did some testing and it looks like it is fixed if it's a straight couple of powers, one as mental defense, and another as damage resistance: mental.

If, on the other hand, the damage resistance is part of a compound power (the other powers in the compound power are of no consequence, but there must be at least 2), then it adds to the total mental defense, rather than just making it resistant.

Hope that this helps. Sorry for making you wade through the giganto-character writeup. It might have been worth it if my character's origin/background were included... :)

Did you know that lava is, like, wicked fast? Dude, what a killer rush, man. Anyway, Han--, um... Ha--, Hershall! Yeah, Hershall had to pull the helicopter away because of the winds that the lava was kicking up, and then I was just surfing down this mountain as it melted behind me. Man, I wish Hamilton could have filmed that..."

"What? Oh, this? Right, well, I don't really know how I got this way. Next thing I remember, I was in the town, whatsitsname. You know, the one that got wiped out? Well, it was all on fire, and there were these cops, and they seemed to think I started the fires, when, DUH!, they were living under a VOLCANO? Hello? Bueller? These cops were, like, seriously dumb. Anyway, when they didn't believe me about the fires, they ran away and got some army guys. I guess it was about then that I realized that some of that lava got on me, and my skin was all burned. Maybe that's why they were freaking out. Anyway, those army guys were, like, pointing guns, and stuff, and yelling, and even got out a megaphone, which was dumb, because I was, like, right there, you know? And they were all yelling at me to stop causing fires, and I was all, like, Dude, I'm not! I'm just here to snowboard!, and they were like, we're going to totally shoot you now. That's when I ran away, you know?

Zachary Ardent is the second son of Regis Ardent, head of the Ardent crime family. Upset by Zach's decision to make nothing of his life, Mr. Ardent assigned a 'friend' to watch over him.
