Update 1.33 is now available for download.

This update fixes the issues with the IF_UNSPENT_EXP and IS_NOT_LIST export tags.

It also adds support for IS_LIST_ITEM and IS_NOT_LIST_ITEM containers. IS_LIST_ITEM functions identically to IFLIST, but follows a more consistent format with the rest of the tag names.

There are numerous changes to bring the output closer to the WG....some of the changes required template changes, so if you're working on custom character templates, you'll likely want to grab the new copies.

If I was to buy the Hero Designer (more likely than not!) would it come with the updates, or would I have to download them separetly?

Do you have a projected date for v2 (I don't want an actual date as that is probaly unfeasable right now, just a ballpark estimate please)?

Thanks. :)

When you purchase HD, you get the 1.0 installers. The installers tend to be rather large and need to be updated for each system. That's over a 100MB of uploading for me if I want to update the installers. Plus the issues with the CD installers then being different from the downloads....

The updates are about 2MB. All you need to do is download the most recent update and you're good to go.

As for v2, I'm hoping to have it out in December of this year. I'm going to begin development on it in June, stopping the updates on v1 when I do (except for any bug fixes).

Dan,
Just a quick comment. I had to symbolically smack myself around recently and these updates were the cause!

For the last couple of weeks, it seems like every time I log on to the boards, I check here and say:

"Holy Crap! Another Update to Download! "

Today, after the aforementioned smacking, I finally found the maturity to say:

"Holy Crap! Another Update to Download!:D "

It took me a while to get past my petty annoyance at having to download updates, and realize what a fantastic level of support you are offering me, one of many Hero Designer customers.

I can't tell you the number of programs that I have purchased that contained more serious flaws than HD, only to discover that, after a couple of patches, the design team just walked away, or the software company just gave up.

I don't know what kind of money you were paid for, or are currently making on, Hero Designer, but it can't be enough to repay the time you must be spending.

Thanks for the Update.:)
