On p. 121 in the rulesbook of the 5th Edition, there is the Adder "Resurrection". It says there that "the deceased's characters body must be healed or cured of whatever injury or disease, or other effect killed him before he is Resurrected, or else he'll probably die again quickly.
How does that work exactly? Does Connor the Immortal or Vampire Lord Dracula need a First Aid treatment first before going into action again? It would be logical for me that the return itself cures that person from the effect that killed him/her. If not, does that person need another Healing power in addition (e.g. Regenerative Healing)?

It works exactly as described. Raising someone from the dead won't work if they still have a deadly poison in their system; you have to neutralize it somehow. Bringing a vampire back won't have much effect if you leave the stake in his heart. And so on. Since the Resurrection Healing does Heal at least some BODY damage, it may suffice in some instances, but there are others where additional steps must be taken.
