Hey, um, I kinda feel like an idiot for asking this question, but it really isn't clear in the 5er book, so I will. What does detecting the fringe on someones invisibility do for you? Does it completely negate the invisibility?

Well, if a character can perceive a Fringe, that means he can perceive the character, which means he doesn't suffer the usual nonperception penalties that Invisibility inflicts.
