Existing comic characters -- specifically bricks -- who are massive, big boned, freakin' huge, built like a brick... well, you get the idea. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are characters like, the Hulk, Ben Grimm, Maul (from WildC.A.T.s).

Mostly I'm looking for decent images.

Any others I should be looking for?

Are you looking for actual images or merely examples of such? Strong Man (of X-Factor way back when, more recently the Madrox limited series), Gladiator (Shiar Imperial Guard), Thor, Hercules...heck, the animated Justice League guys are probably decent images. Image Comics' Supreme, the old Hyperion from Squadron Supreme...

The list goes on.

Also, you might wanna post this to the "Champions" thread. You might get greater visibility.

Yes, actual images -- should have made that clearer. Mostly what I'm looking for are the big, hulking body types. Thor and Herc, while certainly muscular (and rightly so), don't have the "stocky" build that I'm looking for.

Not sure what to tell you except to Google for 'em.

You could start with places like "International Catalogue of Superheroes" (http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/) and Marvel Directory (http://www.marveldirectory.com/).

I would focus on Image Comics, Wildstorm, Extreme Studios...the ol' Jim Lee and Jae Lee type stuff. They made some friggin' huge bricks (Badrock, Savage Dragon, etc).

Yep, Google is the way to go, I think...

And of course, never use these images without the artists' permission. :straight: :rolleyes: :whistle: :tsk:

...heck, the animated Justice League guys are probably decent images.

Speaking of which... I know I've seen this somewhere once before: character outlines (like the ones on the old Champions character sheets) in this Bruce Timm style format. Any ideas where to find them?
