I've been googling to try and find a map (overview is fine) of 1920's or 1930's Africa -- a game I'm running for GenCon is based around a big game safari, and I need a good location for it. So far I've found lots of maps from the 1800's and earlier, and several (tagged as historical) that are 1970's and later. I'd just go with an 1880's map, but I know there was some colony reshuffling after World War 1. Can anyone help me narrow down sites a bit?

Well, I think I might have found a good link for you.
Try
http://history.acusd.edu/gen/WW2Timeline/revanchism.html
specifically, the links at the bottom of the page for "Africa 1930", and "Map 4 of Mandates in Africa in 1919"
http://diglib1.amnh.org/galleries/maps/index.html has a number of period maps.
And my favorite source for period maps from the Library of Congress:
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/gmdhtml/gmdhome.html
Maps from the Library of Congress are downloadable and if you download the viewer one can convert them into TIFs.

Since you said you Googled, I tried AltaVista (using "africa map 1925") and found the Historical Atlas of the Twentieth Century (http://users.erols.com/mwhite28/20centry.htm), which includes, for Africa, Africa in the Early Twentieth Century (http://users.erols.com/mwhite28/afri1914.htm). It seems to be based on 1914, but has some notes which indicate information up through 1930.
Actually, there's quite a bit of historical information here. I just may have to bookmark it.
I found some others for sale ... and a remarkable number of maps of Africa from the late 1800s...
You could also search for Africa in the David Rumsey Collection (http://www.davidrumsey.com/) (I may have to bookmark this one, too...)
(Someone else posted whilst I was searching for these; I don't think I duplicated any links, though.)

Well I was going to suggest http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/historical/index.html but looking at it, they dont have hardly anything post 1880s. I looked at several other sites and there does seem to be a hole in their coverage. The problem is copyright still covers almost anything that would have been published in the 20s-30s.
