First I love HD and the job you've done making updates and changes to the program for us. I realize this is a bit early, but I was wondering if in V2 it will be possible to add new powers/skills/disadvantages into the program.
I have a disadvantage I worked up that I want to show in the program without having to make a custom disadvantage everythime I want to take it. Right now I have to modify the templetes in the update.jar when a new update is made.
I know nothing about programming so I don't know if I'm asking for major pain for you or not.
I was just wondering.
Thanks

Well...first off, you're probably better off creating a prefab which defines your custom Disad...
That said, v2 will still be "template-driven" in that you'll need to add new abilities into the template. There will likely be some changes in the template structure, however, which will make any changes much more "localized". I will also be modifying the app to allow the ability to create new Powers, Characteristics, etc as necessary (rather than recycling existing ones)
In short, there _will_ be changes in the area that you're interested in, but you can also accomplish what you're looking to do through other means.

OK Stupid question #2
Not being extremely familiar with prefabs. Would I have to work up each stage of the disad?
Exalmple is hunted. If I had made it as a prefab. Would I need to make 1 custom at hunted 8-less then another at 11- and another at 14-
Sorry to ask stupid question of a busy man :)

If they are custom Disavantage, then the answer is Yes.

Yes and No.
If you want to be able to add each version without making any further changes then you would need a prefab entry for each of 8-, 11-, and 14-.
However, the easier method may be to have the most commonly used version of the Hunted in the prefab. For example, let's assume the most commonly used version of the Hunted is the 8- version and that is what you have put in your prefab. If you want the 8- version for your character, you just add the Disadvantage from the prefab and don't need to do anything else. However, if you want the 11- or 14- version, you would add the 8- version from the prefab and then edit the added Disad to either 11- or 14-, as appropriate.
Hope this makes sense.
