Say you have a creature that is basically made up of hundreds of little creatures. A swarm like being. When part of the swarm dies, there are fewer hive minds. So how do you represent it losing INT when it takes damage?

Good question. I've made a hivemind creature but never tried for an INT drop.

Maybe a Disadvantage, suceptibility 1D6 INT, every time you suffer a certain percentage of loss of your hive-lets?

Maybe INT could be Linked to BODY?

Another way of handling it might be with a variation on Vulnerability -- 1 1/2 BODY versus everything, except that the extra 1/2 is translated to INT (if you apply the same number of character points to the loss as with Adjustment Powers, you lose 1 INT per 1 BODY).

If I would create a hive-mind, I'd also include an EGO and PRE-Drain. INT is the most important, for sure, but if the swarm gets smaller, other attributes may also decrease.

Just my two cents...

Physical lim:loses X Int per X body lost....I agree that Ego should also drop...neat idea!

Susceptibility to Damage just sounds so wrong in every case but this one.
