Update 1.36 is now available for download.

It appears that I missed a key file for the export process in the last update.....the new tags were working fine in my test environment, but were still broken in the update. This situation has been remedied.

I have also taken the opportunity to upgrade the JDOM XML parser that HD uses.

Beyond that, the only change is that Penetrating is now listed as an available Advantage for STR.

Enjoy!

This is an extremely weenie request, but if you were to put a link to the update's URL in the announcement of the update, I for one would greatly appreciate it. This because I'm lazy, and because I always lose track of where to find the danged updates.

Two options:

1. Click on "Free Stuff" at the top of every page on this site.

2. Go to Tools -> check for updates in HD. It will offer to take you straight there.

Dan -- I've downloaded the update twice now and each time it states that I have version 1.23 installed... I assume the link is pointing to the right file, what gives?

For some reason, it no longer sees the update file, any clues as to how I can fix the update.jar file? Or, barring that, what else I can do?

a) make sure you're not caching the file...so that the file that you download is what is currently on the server

b) make sure that you're system is saving the file as "update.jar" and not something else

Beyond that, there's not much else to be done.

I fixed the problem -- I used a different browser to download the file and now it works... I would guess the browser I was using was corrupting the file in the download.

Thanks for the help though!

Just wanted to say thanks a lot for adding the tags.
They are working fine.

Also, I want to add, that HD is one of the best buys I have ever made. Its development team (or is it just dsimon?) is the most helpful and enthusiastic I have ever had the pleasure to contact for "support". The support is great. The option to create your own Export Templates is an amazingly helpful bonus.
Ok, in short, I think the program is really well done and the support for it is even better. I enjoy playing with it just for fun :D

Thanks for everything.
Roy.
