I just finished reading Path of the Bold, the second Silver Age Sentinels anthology from Guardians of Order, and I just have to say how great the the book is. I'm going to order Path of the Just from my FLGS asap.

My question is this: Does Hero Games or DOJ have, ever had, or will make, plans to do a similar book to the the Path anthologies? And if you are, is it going to be written by professionals or is it going to be fan fiction? With the rich history of the Champions Universe alone, I'm pretty sure it could be mined for quite a few collections of shorts stories.

Who knows, maybe if you had the time and/or resources, you could hold a fan fiction contest with the winners having their stories put in such as book.

Just a thought. Good or bad? You tell me ;)

I'm not a company spokesman but sometimes I pretend to be! ;)

They plan to release a "Dark Champions"-style pulp collection. Sounded very cool to me. But then I just love giving them my money :)

Actually, Blue, I think it's more traditional pulp stories in the anthology -- not sure where the "Dark Champions"-style bit is coming from. It will feature a previously unpublished Lester Dent (author of Doc Savage) story.

Yeh, what he said.

(Don't you get tired of following me around cleaning up my messes?)

Just to clarify -- the anthology is entirely pulp. There's nothing Dark Champions about it at all. Take that for good or bad as you will. :hex:
