Automaton (Takes no Stun) defenses

On 5E 311, it refers to the tripling of cost for automaton defenses (with the Takes No Stun power) but this happens right after the sentance detailing the reducing to 1/3 for the base defenses.

HD also assumes that this reduction (increase) takes place on all defenses (Mental DEF, Force Wall, Flash DEF, Lack of Weakness, Power DEF)... which I am not so sure is implied in this rule.

Granted, there may need to be discussion with Steve Long on this, but I don't see why it should cost 3X for a automaton's Flash DEF.

I believe that Dan has had this conversation with Steve in the past and Steve ruled that it applied to all defenses.

In addition, I'll note that 5ER refers to the 3x Cost as applying to all additional defenses and Defense Powers. And since Flash Defense is clearly defined as being a Defense Power, it would seem it definitely applies.

It applies to all defense Powers. Anything listed in 5ER as a Defense Power will be tripled in cost (including Flash Defense, Power Defense, etc.)
