Hi guys,
I am Posting characters for my Ultimate Superheroes universe and I have decided to not use any published characters. For my Hulk homage I was going to use Grond but I want to post all the characters here so have decided to go with all fresh characters.
So can everyone be so kind as to suggest names for my Hulk tribute character, if you want to go further and suggest powers/concept thats fine.
My imagination always seems to spark off a name so this would be very helpful.

Rage!
Furey!
Dervish.
I always think of him as an unstoppable force of nature like the eye of a Hurricane but names never seem to capture his primordeal essence.

I'd add Rampage to the good suggestions. Though, I think Amok is my favorite!
What about Hogan?

Mmm, My favourites so far have been Rage, Fury, Rampage, Amok, Tantrum and Onslaught.
Bememoth is already a name used for another charcter in the Universe.
I think my choice so far is Rampage, but the others are so good I will end up using a few elsewhere. Keep em coming!

My first thought was Crunch.
Amok is used (in the San Angelo Universe).
Of others' suggestions to date, I like Tantrum best. :D

The Indescribable Bulk would be the tongue-in-cheek choice.
As soon as I read the request I got hung up on the word "Gamma" but can't find a good use for it. Gamma-spawn, etc.
Of the nicknames that have been attached to the Hulk, only Jade Giant seems to stick.

No, you cant have Rage. That's the name of my spear-wielding native american seeker of justice. Sorry :)

Besides those given (Rage, Fury, Rampage being my favorites), I'll add the following:
Wrath, Doom, Gargantua, Antaeus, Behemoth, Might, Brute, Force (of Nature)

The name would depend upon who gave him the name. Hulk, Vision, others adopted the name "bestowed" upon them. If this world's "Hulk" gets his a similar way, "Rampage" might be best out of your favorites.
"I can't describe it General! It was some kind of unstoppable RAMPAGE !"

I second this point, although 'it was a rampage' to me sounds unnatural. I'd expect to say/hear 'it was _on_ a rampage'.
I only skimmed the thread - did anyone suggest The Brute?
"The brute is back, sir! We're hitting it with everything we've got, but it won't stay down!"

Considering the Hulk I'd name the tribute 'Smash'. I like the simple sound and it is what he does.

i was going to suggest brute
but how about BRUTEFORCE ( for some reason i see him pared with a intelligence draining mentalist named IGNORANCE)
for some reason i fidn teh idea of him having a short normal name kind of appealing. especially if it was an abreviation or child like nick name of his normal identities given name.
"you made BOB angry now BOB smoosh you puny man"
Kirby

Angry Teenager? Or just Angst for short? :)
GOB - either for Greatly Overpowered Brute/Bonehead/Beast, (though, in a previous group it stood for Generic Oriental Badguy)
Amok is great, but is in San Angelo: City of Heroes, which several members are aware of. It also suggests a mental imbalance, though Amuck, while similar, doesn't, meaning murderous frenzy, or to rush about wildly; lose self-control.
Behemoth is my preferred name for a Hulk-like character (though I don't go for certain things that annoy me with the Hulk).
Juggernaut is a good name, though Marvel has used that one also (though they didn't create it). Jagannath is another version of that name (or Jagannatha - lord of the world).
Berserker might be relevant if he's a "life makes me mad" type.
Is your Hulk-tribute character going to be the dumb, angry one, or a smarter one?
Some powers would include rapid healing (which they didn't give him until after the Hulk/Wolverine "meeting"), Aid to STR (when enraged/berserk), superleap w/Megascale advantage.
Mighty Quinn - would give you a song already.

Gives you trouble if you have old V & V scenarios, though. My age may be showing, but that's one of my favorite Supers scenarios ever...

My age may be showing....It is. I can tell you're 39, just by looking in the upright corner.

I played it less than that, but many of the scenarios were excellent conversions to Champions.

CLAIMED Reason listed below in white font - highlight the line if you want to see, or don't if you don't want the spoiler.
Xemnu was billed as "the Hulk" in his first monster comic appearance.
[Ahhh...fond memories of early Defenders and especially that old Hulk Annual (#6 IIRC)]
And I didn't need the Internet. You young whippersnappers don't know how to discuss comic book trivia. Why in my day we didn't have "comic stores". We had to scour the newsstands. In the driving sleet. Uphill al the way. BOTH WAYS!!!
