running HD

Since my computer is my only CD player I was wondering if the CD verion of HD will run without the cd or do I need the downloaded version (windows XP) instead?

If you buy the CD, once you install it, you can put the CD in a little jewel case, and leave it there. It's not necessary to have it anywhere near the computer.

The program DLs to your computer, and you run that.

So, you can use the CD player for other things.
