Here's my short version of the back story.....The hero who would one day be known as Caveman was born a typical young neandertal who accidentaly wandered into the working end of a malfunctioning Olmec time portal. He was discovered by a poor but virtuous farmer named Jesus Cortez married to the beutiful but virtuous Carmalita Cortez (Nee Molina) The young warior was adopted by the couple and was raised in a loving home and learned virtue and religion from his foster parents....in time after many adventures he came to be a masked luchadore.....Caveman has the maximum stats for a normal for the most part. But that means maximim for a neandertal.

thats 36 points on skills. Just FYI Caveman Cortez is a masked wrestler-Detective......If I've done the math right this leaves 64 points unspent...So what should I spend it on? THanx in advance...:)

Well first off, love the write up!
Mexican Wrestler detective, cool! By any chance are you a fan of the indy comic Sonambulo?
As to spending points, since he’s a detective Criminology or perhaps even Forensic Medicine might be handy, maybe a contact on the police force?

Caveman Cortez is actually Jason's PC in our currently-running Golden Age campaign/playtest. Just so nobody thinks we stole the name/concept if he does make it into the book somewhere... dw

No worrys compadre...I mentioned that I stole the idea from the Lucha game at Dundra-con....if anyone can claim ownership of the write up of a real person...:) I've had an idea for the 64 points, in Lucha films the heros seem to "find" things with ease, even things that seem very unlikely to be lieing around....so what I'd like to build is a Gadet pool that takes a -1/4 lim for type of powers since very unlikely things may well turn up...but the luchadore dos'nt really controll what turns up nor can he change the pool once used for that adventure....I'm not sure how to build it, right now I've got....
Hey! Look what I've found. VPP: 50 points, lims on control cost Focus -1/2 and a group of barely likely things -1/4.....thats 14 points so it fits point wise just fine...but I'm not sure about the no skill roll/no control aspects, I'm temped to hand wave it, but I dislike doing that....what other Lucha abilitys (or detective abilitys) am I missing? Thanx....

Well, he may or may not be a real person, but I suspect his inspiration is the magnificently horrendous Cavernario Galindo.

Well sure...he had to take a false name for the ring, to protect his carrer as a detective and spy...
