I'm the gamemaster related to the previous question about NND weapon and blocks.

I have two very specific question.

The character in question has a jedi lightsaber that has been constructed as a HKA NND does body, defence is forcefields and is, obviously, composed of light.

Can it be used to block a hand to hand attack? (Or should a disadventage be added to prevent blocking with the weapon, like cannot be used to block(possibly -1/4))

Otherwise, can it be blocked by an opponent?
-->Or should an adventage be added to prevent this(like, cannot be blocked by physical means (+1/2) )
-->Or add a linked power like desolid only versus blocking weapons(-2) )

There are no rules that say any given type of weapon cannot be used to Block, or cannot be Blocked. For example, the special effect of Blocking a lightsaber-like weapon might be to stop the arms that wield it from swinging through, or getting out of the way, or any number of other things.

I don't want to get into too much of a "how to build" sort of thing, because I don't like to answer those questions. However, you might want to consider (a) looking at the rules in UMA for using Indirect to make un-Block-able attacks (and, conversely, for using Hardened to counteract that), and (b) giving the weapon a Damage Shield so that when someone Blocks it, they take damage. From the tone of the questions, I am guessing that the concern here is that there's an issue of what happens to someone who Blocks such a weapon; building in a Damage Shield might resolve that problem.

For an example of what I'm talking about, look at the Energy Sword on page 148 of Star Hero.

Hope this helps! If you have rules follow-up questions, feel free to post 'em. :)
