Back in college, the campus newspaper ran an ad asking for "proffreaders..."

So here we were, a bunch of soldiers standing around waiting for an awards ceremony to get started, when along comes the new brigade commander. As brigade commanders tend to do, he decided to stop off and chat with his joes, and he eventually got around onto a tirade about people complaining about their job when there are soldiers over in Afghanistan and Iraq who have it much worse, and that any of those guys who left home never to return again would jump at the chance to trade places with anyone here.

After going on in a similar vein for (no lie) 20 minutes, he asks if anyone had any concerns or complaints. I don't think he put two and two together on this one when no one spoke up....
