Version 1 question

Are bugs and other problems with version 1 still going to be supported after version 2 comes out? At this point in time the "main" features (the ability to upload/download characters) has zero interest for me, and thus I have no real reason to want to purchase the updated version. So if those of us who do not update find a bug will it be fixed or ignored?

Any bugs will absolutely be fixed....I <i>think</i> that I covered this in the v2 features thread....I apologize if not.

In about 3 weeks I will be freezing the code for v1....all this means is that there will not be any new features added in. If someone finds a bug, then I will continue to post v1 updates.

The only real exception to this rule would be for bugs that are introduced because of OS changes. If Microsoft releases a new version of Windows which breaks or does not support the JVM that v1 runs off of, then users of the new OS may be out of luck. If the fix is easy, I'll endeavor to make it, but there are no promises of future compatibility with operating systems that don't exist at this time ;-)
