Here (http://www.kurzweilai.net/articles/art0405.html?printable=1) is a link by a futurist speculating on what a future transhuman being might be like. I thought I'd toss it out just to see what people thought of it.

Trying to build it using the HERO system would be pretty tricky. My main concept is how you would build the mind of a being which has a multitrack awareness, able to multitask mentally at once. Not to mention trying to guess what the INT score of that entity would be.

Woohoo! Turbocharged Optimism! That sounds great!

Its kind of like the optimism of the tech-market and the mad speculation on it in the market during the late 90's...

Well, they will need that advanced int, the poison resistances, and the superior physical being in general to survive their Turbocharged Optimism.

Optimism and pessimist need to balance out for maximum survivability. Too much of the former, and they take too many risks, thinking everything will work just like they plan. Too much of the latter, and they take virtually no risks at all, and therefor dont capitalize on opportunities.

I think I'll keep the old model.

I'd like to get one of those. I constantly suffer from aches and pains, so a body like that would be great. Then all I'd need is a light saber.

Ageless? Hah! My car has all replaceable parts, but I'm pretty sure it won't run forever.

That's where cloning comes in. :eg:

I just love the part about the spine as the Internal Communications Network. Thought it did that already. Sides, one of the features is "Hear your body speaking!" and I'm uncertain I want to hear everything my body might say. I say enough nonsense right now without having my stomach chip in with requests for more ice cream my nose constantly muttering about the smells it can't qute make out. Who wants to listen to their feet either, always whining about walking too much and how much better it was when we were crawling around as babies.

You would have the female version of the 'internal voice'.

Before I'm ostracized and ridiculed by our female posters.

I'm only kidding.
