View Full Version : Inability to toggle Ablative

Hiyas, I am currently pulling all of the ship components from TE into a equipment sheet (to be saved as a prefab). to allow me to quickly construct ships. After adding in the weapons and working on defenses, something wierd is happening.
I am entering in Defense Package 3 and I can no longer toggle the Ablative limitation. I see the checkbox appear for a second, then untoggle. Confused, I copied the Defense Package 1 list (each package is in a list) and the checkbox was marked (like it should be), but then I found I could not unmark the box.

Email me the power in question (just put it in a character, if you want)...I want to be sure we're looking at the same thing.

Ablative is about as basic as they come in terms of Modifiers....no special logic, except that it only applies to Defense-type Powers....It's working fine when I try to insert it or remove it from Powers on my system.

It actually seems to be something with 1.38. If I rename the update.jar file, it works fine, allowing me to checkmark and stuff.

PS: Dunno how you want the sample I am working with. It has writeups from out of TE (the weapons & defenses) so I probably should not just post it here...

Ah ha! Finally tracked it down. It only occurs for Characteristics purchased as Equipment.

I've got the issue fixed and will include the fix in the next update.
