Lost an Entire Character

HD locked up while saving a large character and I had to CTRL+ALT+DEL out of it and kill it in the Task Manager.

When I went to reopen the character, I got a couple of error messages and when the character opened, it had nothing in it. I checked the hdc file and its empty, 0kb.

Wow.

Here's the trace log, but it doesnt show anything untoward as its from the restart, not the crash.

Without knowing why HD crashed, there's nothing I can do.

The error messages are because of the lack of any content in the file (the xml parser is having obvious issues parsing it).

If it happens again, please save the trace.log file. This could be anything from a random system error to an (as yet unknown) bug in HD.
