Bonjour,
I'm unable to enter the side effects for engines of vehicules, as designed in the Ulitmate Vehicule, concerning the environmental effects.
I'm unable to have the -1 3/4 limitation with HeroDesigner.
When i use automatically occurs, the limitation switch to -1 1/2.
Who is right , UV or HD ?

It would help if you could give a specific page reference...
HD follows the rules for Side Effects as laid out in FREd. While it is certainly possible that TUV contains an error, it is also entirely possible that you are misunderstanding the power's construction.
As I said, if you give an example, I can be a bit more specific...

Just take a look to the movement power of any plane (i don't have Ulitmate Vehicule near hands right now) - Superjet is a good example -
It's calculated as Side Effects Extreme (-1/2), Affects environnement (-1/4), Side Effect occurs automatically whenever Power is used (+1) - which acts as a x2.
Whatever, i don't manage to reach the -1 3/4 Limitation indicated in the Ultimate Vehicule.

Just talked to Steve about this...TUV is in error. From the look of things, the x2 multiplier for "effect always occurs..." is being done before the "adders" are added in, which is incorrect. The multipliers should always be the last thing that occurs in figuring the cost of a Modifier. Which means that it is impossible to arrive at a value of -1 3/4 when you have a x2 multiplier.
The correct value is as HD lists it.
