1) Do Terran Empire Displacer & Hyperdrives require the listed amount of END every Phase, or just once per usage? (the rules would imply just once, but that seems like a rather low power requirement for the effect)

2) Plasma weapons on starships do not require any power to fire (just charges) -- is this right, and what's the special effect? (I'm seeing "photon torpedoes".)

1. They have the normal END usage for the power involved - Teleportation -- which means they only spend END when they activate the engine. But you could easily make 'em pay that much every Phase when traveling, or rule that they have to spend normal Flight END because of the special effect of hypertravel.

2. Think of it like a battery or ammo supply, not a torpedo. The weapons don't run off ship's power, but off a "clip" of energy/fuel that needs periodic replenishing.
