I re-logged into the Chat Room.

Put my "user name" and "Real Name" in the right spots but...

When I got to the chat room my "Real Name" is what appears.

Anyone else have this problem?
Should I worry about it?

There are those who would destroy me if they knew my "Real Name"... (but too dumb to look at my profile :) )

That's normal (and intended). You can edit your user name and/or display name by going to http://herogame.dans.cust.servlets.net/changeUserInfo.jsp

Thanks... it worked... I was able to change my stuff successfully...

But a very strange, unexplainable event happened.

The first time I clicked on the link provided, it took me to "Digital Hero Library"

http://herogame.dans.cust.servlets.net/digitalHero/index.jsp

There's a link on the bottom "Change User Info."

Clicking this took me to

http://herogame.dans.cust.servlets.net/digitalHero/changeUserInfo.jsp

Which is a 404 page.

Flustered and on the verge of panic, I decided to click the link provided in this thread again...

and this time it took me straight to the Change Info section. Weird. Why did this happen? I have some theories.

Browser Cookie -or- Warp in space/time -or- Alternate Universe

Just thought you might want to check it out.

Same thing happeded to me, but I think I have a theory. Before my browser sent me to the Digital Hero page, it sent me to the sign in page. And, iirc, the Discussion Boards and the store/chat/DH use a different login.

So, having logged on to the s/c/dh section of the site on my first attempt, the link took me to the appropriate place on the second attempt.

Why I got the 404 response from the DH page escapes me...

It's probably just caching issues...the site's been through a number of changes over the past week or so.....

It looks as though everything's working fine (when I check it), so any issues should work themselves out as your cache refreshes.

Let me know if the problem continues....
