Force Field Question

If a mount has a force field, am I right in assuming that the rider ISN"T covered buy the field or would this be a limitation on the FF?

Correct, the rider is not covered. If the mount's FF had the Protects Carried Items Adder, I suppose some GMs might allow that to extend to the rider, but that seems too potentially abusive to me. Applying the Usable Simultaneously Advantage with some restrictions would work better.
