Since html has been nixed, I was wondering how this export template looked on the boards now:

He'll always consider a danger to innocents, and act to remove them from harm before directly confronting any villain or thug. As a doctor and a superhero, is first priority is to save lives. Only once that is accomplished will he focus on catching the bad guys.<br /><br />Allan also has the notion that everything always works out. He's got good reason to, as so far everything has. No matter how bad thing seem, it's bound to work out for the best in the end. This believe has lead him to take some strange risks and attempt straight forward (and obvious) tactics without regard for the long term consequences. Born deaf, he had no warning other than the sudden swerving of his parents' car just before it was struck by the meteor. Thrown from the vehicle but miraculously unharmed, he rushed to his mother and father still trapped in side the overturned car. He tried opening the door and found it popped right off its hinges. Without a thought, he pulled both is parents away from the wreck, not quite realizing he was doing so with one in each hand. And all the while there was this strange buzzing in his head.<br /><br />After some time, he realized that he was actually hearing sounds. The doctors couldn't explain it, something during the accident must of triggered something in Allan's mind. Perhaps the deafness was a psychological condition and the stress of the accident erased it somehow. What was known was that his hearing was more acute than normal. How acute they couldn't tell, and Allan had no reference to describe what he was hearing. He never told anyone about his strength. He never really thought about it much himself. He knew he was strong, and had no doubt that his strength was proportional to his newfound hearing, but never had the nerve to test it.<br /><br />Believing that mineral found in the meteor, called alterite, was responsible for his hearing, Allan studdied the mineral and its properties and tried to develops method or reproducing the accident to grant hearing to others who were deaf. He eventually became a specialist in hearing disorders, treating the deaf in hopes of restoring hearing, but he has yet to find the connection between the strange mineral and the miracle of his own hearing.<br /><br />The thought of using his powers to fight crime never occured to Allan. He just wanted to help deaf people. One inadvertant test of his strength would change that forever. A fight between superheroes and supervillains had broken out in downtown Millennium City. A stray energy blast had knocked down one of the interbuilding walkways several stories up, and it was heading straight for a crowd of people. Without thinking, Allan ran over and caught it, gently setting it asside. The heroes saw this and said they could use someone with his strength if he was interested. At first Allan balked, not wanted to get involved, but the offer kept nagging at him until he finally contacted the heroes. Adopting the name Doctor Phenomenal (for his phenomenal strength and endurance), he now fights crime with Millennium City's superheroes.</span></td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold;">Powers/Tactics:&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Doctor Phenomenal is basically a typical "brick" with really, really good hearing. He's strong, durable and endurant. Thanks to his zeal for helping people he's become very adept in various fighting techniques in short amount of time. He'll typically use straight forward tactics, simply slugging it out until his opponent falls, or if he can't reach his target, he'll find something to throw. He'll usually put his Levels into OCV, but will switch to damage if against a particularly tough opponent.<br /><br />Asside from his strength, Doctor Phenomenal's most used Power is his hearing. His hearing is so acute that he can use it to pinpoint sounds and tell the difference between a pin dropping and a needle dropping. He can even distinguish individual sounds amid other noise, such a picking out a specific voice from a crowd. Even at a distance his hearing is impressive; he's able to make out a normal volume conversation taking place over a quarter mile away.</span></td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold;">Campaign Use:&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"></span></td></tr></table>

So, just out of curiosity, will there be any export templates that allow for posting to the hero boards?

Yup. No HTML in posts anymore.

It shouldn't be too terribly difficult to create a decent export template using the vB tags (all are supported except for IMG). Give it a week or so and I'm sure you'll see a few floating around (if there aren't any already).

I made an export template for posting to PhP boards, and would imagine it works here as well. If you do a search for Easthaven in the HD forum, you should find it. It is about a month old I think.
