I'm attempting to create a list representing a gyrojet pistol, with each item on the list representing a different type of ammunition that the pistol can carry.
My intent is to convert it into a prefab so the ammo actually carried can be selected and added to the charecter sheet.
The first item is:
APEX Ammunition: Killing Attack - Ranged 2 1/2d6, Increased Maximum Range (800"; +1/4), Armor Piercing (+1/2), Area Of Effect Accurate (One Hex; +1/2) (90 Active Points); OAF (-1), 4 clips of 3 Charges (-3/4), Minimum Range (5"; -1/4), Real Weapon (-1/4)
The OAF, Clips, and Real Weapon are applied to the list. I create the item and save it with no problems. But when I close the character and re-open it, I get:
"Area of Effect is not a legal modifier on APEX Ammunition: Killing Attack-Ranged. Reason: Area of Effect cannot be applied to powers that already affect an area. Area of Effect will be removed from Killing Attack-Ranged."
Am I overlooking something really obvious?
Character attached.
