CSL's

Bruno has two 3-point CSL's with blades. He is using a sword in HTH combat against a club-wielding enemy. If Bruno dodges, can he use these two CSL's to add to his DCV (for a total of +5 DCV, including the +3 for dodge)?

He can use them, because he's involved in the type of combat -- HTH -- to which the CSLs apply. He couldn't use them to improve his DCV if someone were shooting arrows at him, though; that's Ranged Combat, to which his CSLs don't apply.
