This may be a quesiton for Herodom Assembled (tm) but: I'm looking to build a scientist with a number of "lacky" robots that he controls via Mindlink. I've built them as both Followers and as Duplication (100% Different +1). My question is, besides the cost difference, is there any practical difference between the Lackies?
Thanks,
James.

I've moved this to the Discussion board so whoever likes can take part. ;)

Mechanicaly the big rules difference is how much control are you giving to the GM (Followers are controled by the GM)
F/X wise I would lean towards followers unless the robots had copies of the scientists brain engrams or some such to make them in some ways more similar to him.
But that is just me...

Built with duplication you have to spend XP to replace destroyed robots, built with followers you don't.
You could also try 'summon', with the sfx being you build the things.

I would do it this way as well.
Summon particularily is quite versatile.
