Dive For Cover Levels?

Just checking (and don't think it's vital enough to bother Steve about on his thread. ;)) ...

If I want to give a character Dive For Cover levels, would that just be a 2 point level, or a higher level with a limitation?

This has been covered before.

Some (most) GM's around here allow DEX skill levels to affect DFC and Dodge Skill levels to affect DFC.

DFC may also be affected by 3pt skill levels if it is designated as one of the maneuvers or skills the 3pt level covers.

And of course, 8pt all combat and 10pt overall skill levels work with it.

But not 2pt CSL's because that is OCV only. Of course, 2pt "Skill Levels" might affect it, but since DFC is a Combat Skill and not a normal skill, most GM's probably wouldn't allow that.

Its not official as far as I know, but it seems to be the general consensus (and thats a loose consensus, believe me)
