Prospective Legionaire

I'm thinking of applying as a Legion of Heroes member. I have extensive roleplaying experience, and I have run many games in the past, but most of those were GURPS or Rifts. I have only really run two sessions of HERO. But, as I've said, I have lots of roleplaying experience, most of that is from my cousin's champions campaign. I also attended a convention in Ohio (AndCon) where I won 1st place for roleplaying in a Herogames event. I've been playing for about 15 years. I also, have the wife, the kids, and a full time job that requires me to work most Saturdays, so about my only chance to help promote my favorite game (shameless plug mode off), would be every couple of months, as my time is limited due to my children being so young.
Should I apply, or wait until I have more (GM) experience under my belt?

If you feel you have a proper grasp of the rules to run a Hero Game, and that you can present the system to others in ways that will interest them, by all means, please apply! ;)
