Jadeclaw is the current game I am playing with some friends. Its anthropmorphic (furry) kung fu game. It has an interesting dicepool and skill system. It has a robust martial arts system so that you can learn such moves as 'butterfly landing on iron pillar' which instead of doing damage knocks back an opponent.

I'm pretty fond of Talislanta. Fascinating world setting, and though it may sound odd from a HERO lover, I love the simple, fast but flexible game mechanics; they're perfectly suited to the milieu, and help focus the game on role-playing.

RoboRally, AKA Richard Garfield's Other Contribution to Gaming. The story is that this was the game he was trying to sell to Wizards of the Coast when he ended up selling them some obscure card game that required collecting  Truth be told, in my opinion it's more fun than his more famous contribution. Our local gaming group has played it so much the movement cards are starting to get ratty...
I play a fair amount of D&D as well, primarily because it's the best way for me to be a player (I'm almost always the HERO GM).

My wife and I play Magic:The Gathering (I use a program to print proxies of expensive cards, and I don't collect, so it isn't much of a money drain, no more than HERO).
We play some 3E D&D with 20 year old 1st ed characters that we had converted over, for nostogia, upon occasion.
I played Heroclix, but it has lost its appeal- I could do everything it does with HERO combat with all the options on. I'm not really much of a wargamer.
We also play Trivial Pursuit (which I usually win) and Scrabble (which my wife invariably wins).
Video games- The wife plays console RPGs, I am into emulation of old console games (can't get better than the classic 8 and 16 bit platformers) and the arcade games I sunk quarters into as a youth (Pac Man, Tron, Asteriods, Gauntlet, that sort of thing).

Lord Mhoram, What program do you use to make the cards with??
I like to play several Cheap A$$ games (Lord of the Fries, give me the Brain). WE also love playing Robo Rally around here, I suck at it, but its fun to play.
We also get around to playing Formula De the Racing game every now and then.
WE do some of the card game, usually the ones on sale really cheap. But I also like L5R, Magic and Warlord.
My wife is really into Dark Age of Camalot right now...She plays a lot, and I get on sometimes with her.
I would like to play the Buffy RPG and check out War Hammer 40 some more, I have the basics of an Army I just need to do more with it....
THANKS

Love almost eveything everyone has listed so far. But I what I play the most often is the Settlers of Catan board game. Slick design, fast play and plenty of teeth gnashing. And if you lose revenge is only 40 minutes away.

The program is in actuallity database and inventory tracking software for magic cards, the proxy printing is an extra: It's a nifty little thing called Magic Suitcase. It's freeware. Most search engines should bring it up, and there is a yahoo group devoted to the program (not magic itself, just the program). There are a couple of other sites that have cropped pictures of all the card art, and they work with suitcase so you can (if you want to take the ink) make a failry cool looking proxy.

I love that game! I first played a friend's copy up in San Antonio. So I had to buy it.
Also my group currently plays D20 Modern, Wheel of Time (Rarely), Feng Shui, Warhammer FRP, Rifts (I know Mea Culpa, but is more or less just for a powergaming fix), and for a non rpg kick we also occasionally play Modern Naval Battles (mainly to annihilate whichever player ends up with the USS Kirk):D

We only get to play Champions every 3 weeks.
Lately, we've seen Formula De, Blood Bowl, APBA Baseball, Settlers/Starfarers, Parts Unknown (CheapA$$), Xactica (Screw your neighbour with 12 suits and every cards in 4 different suits), American Megafauna, Roborally and Heroclix.
Funny how it's easier to make a balanced Champions battle than a clix game.

"Yay! BLOOD BOWL!" The best Games Workshop game ever!
I play anything GW(something to do with working there), D&D3e, Feng Shui, Shadowfist, and several REALLY old and no-longer-supported card games.

The following are "active" campaigns under 3 different GMs in which I have a character...
Vampire: Dark Ages
Werewolf: The Apocalypse
Runequest
D&D 2e Monster Campaign (Playing creatures as PCs)
D&D 3e adaption of the "Return to Temple of Elemental Evil"
D&D 3e Traditional Greyhawk campaign
D&D 3e Planar Campaign
That's not including 1-shots and campaigns that are unlikely to ever continue. But you can see why there's a need for a my pending Champions game in there.
I generally hate boardgames. The Exception is indeed Bloodbowl! But then calling it a board game is like calling Hermit a "casual poster". It just doesn't quite cover it. :)

I play historical GURPS games...no, wait. I run historical GURPS games! And a GURPS Traveller game, although it's intermittant. And I'm so dying for someone to run Castle Falkenstein or Pendragon!
My evening addiction is Civ III. And I play Frisbee with my dogs, too. :)

I'm a wargaming nut, and Advanced Squad Leader is by far my favorite game. I also recently started playing Euro games such as Settlers of Cataan, Puerto Rico, and Ra. These games have surprisingly complex strategies with relatively simple rules, and are highly addictive. :)

I play 3rd edition D&D every other tuesday.
I occasionally play board games, but I really don't care for the player dynamic behind most competitive games. So I prefer silly games that people don't take too seriously.
So I will play: WizWar, Nuclear War(all three incarnations mixed together), Formula DE, Car Wars (only with a fun group). Not much else.
As for RPGs I would love to play Castle Falkenstein, but I don't think that commuting to Shelley's house is practical :P . I good Champions campaign would also be really fun. I guess that I would be willing to try anything if I thought that the GM and group was into Roleplaying instead of PowerGaming/Hack and Slay. While I don't mind some combat, I just have to do more than just kill things.

For BloodBowl, I always saw myself as a thinking man, so I figured I'd be playing a fast passing team like High Elves, or some such. But the first pewter team to come out back around '93 was Orcs, and the more I played them, the more I enjoyed them. I've tried almost all the others (humans, Skaven, High Elves, Goblins, Lizardmen getting the most play; just got a team of Undead models two weeks ago).
The guys in my group really tend to try a variety because one of the guys is involved in playtesting potential new BB rules, and he might need someone to play some games as a halfling coach, or some new offbeat team. Right now we're playing a very different SPP/skills system, ageing system, and handicap table.

There is a large Warhammer 40k following near where I am. I used to play about 7 years ago and I still have most of my minis so I am pulling them out and painting some. Still trying to figure out if I want to jump into the game again, goodness but it got expensive while I was away.

I play an incredible little card game by Steve Jackson Games called Munchkin. The offical blurb goes like this,
"This award-winning card game captures the essence of the dungeon experience . . . with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm . . . or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon . . ."
It's just a lot of fun! :D

I'm itching to play in a game of shadowrun. I miss the days of that. I want to draft up a Phys. Adept Bounty Hunter and get me a decent Mr. Johnson.
I just finished that sample Buffy adventure with a tech nerd. That may be continuing online via email.
3rd Edition on occasions, 2nd on others.
I'm building my own CCG/Dice game for the heck of it.
This doesn't include Quiddler, Elixer, Illuminati, and a couple of others.

Yes! Munchkin Rules! Now, Mole and I actually have managed to talk our wives into playing this game with us, and so far, I believe, we have managed to avoid the embarrasment of losing to either of them....
It's a really hilarious game for any who have ever played in the Fantasy Genre..the items and Monsters are great (it's where Mole's "Ancient Wannabe Vampire" comes from ) and I understand that Star-Munchkin and an expansion are in the works. It's great geeky fun.

Actually, there's already an expansion called The Unnatural Axe, which I have along with the main game. Not sure if Star Munchkin is out yet or not because I haven't looked, but it's supposed to be compatible with the main game and expansion, so I'll probably pick it up too.
My g/f and I play this quite often just the two of us, and we play with friends when time allows. It's always a good time.

Me and my friends like to pick up with the Robotech RPG, which is still going strong after, what, 5-6 years. Modified every so slightly, it's fun. There's nothing like firing 7 volleys of 8 missiles and blowing everything to kindgom come. Yeah!

Games I Play would be:
1) Shadowrun, this game has always fascinated me, and I GM'd a 3 year long game supporting 10 people. I think I actually prefer GMing for it though.
2) Hero Wars, soon to be HeroQuest (not the old board game, a new RPG). This is a great game done by Issaries Inc, and is the latest installment of the Glorantha universe. I read the description on their website (http://www.glorantha.com/) and I was hooked. I happened to find a used copy of the game in the only gaming shop I know of in Kyoto so I picked it up. I have not been disappointed. I'm running the game as a PBeM since my Japanese isn't good enough to RP, and the Japaneses' English isn't good enough to RP.
3) Exalted, I bought this system right before I moved and ran a quickie to test it using an old Star Wars Adventure Journal Adventure. It was really fun. I lent it to my friends who have used it so much it they've bought me a new copy.
4) Some 3rd Ed.
5) Usagi Yojimbo (Rabbit Bodyguard), I actually got to play this game and I loved the simplicity of it. It uses the Instant Fuzion rule set and so, could conceivably be compatible with Hero; also at 8 bucks I couldn't pass it up. That, and my character was really cool, even the name I came up with Kitsune Hawatari (Fox Walking the Edge of a Sword)-he was a fox gambler.
6) Earthdawn - Haven't played this in a while, but it had an interesting concept and the people I played with were great, despite a less than mediocre GM (Let me show you what my NPCs can do! Now let me show you what my old character can do to them!) Only played it for two sessions, but had a blast because of the rest of the players, which is saying a lot because the game was literally just a show between the NPCs and the GMs old PC.
7) Vampire: The Masquerade - Didn't actually play this, but created a character that I threatened playing, but turned out the game was going to be run by the previously mentioned GM so I avoided it.
8) WEG: Star Wars - Perhaps one of the best representations of a setting that I've played. Certainly it had its flaws, but the general ease of play added to the movie feel of the game. This is what I started on. Was recently involved in a PBeM that died due to lack of GM attention.
As I said, most of my books are in storage in the US waiting, but I have my Shadowrun and Hero Wars books, well some of them, with me, so that's what I'm playing.

1st Edition/2nd Edition/Options MegaHouse-Ruled out ADnD. (99% me doing the thinking and the work.:D)
3E didn't have a chance. Our group pretty much had ADnD working the way we wanted to by the time it came out.
Played quite a few games in the past but this is pretty much it right now, along with Champions.
Would like to play Space 1889 but our prospective Ref hasn't got around to starting up a game for that one.

I am in a big RPG group it is part of a student organization at my college (but only 1/2 are students) There are about 10 games going on right now and 3 of them are hero (Champions, Golden Age champions, and fantasy hero). I am in four games
1. Golden age champions. Fun game... not going to say much more
2. Changling: the dreaming. Have a great GM for this one. No angst and everything is twisted in a sort of Jhonen Vasquez way. Fun game
3.Shadowrun, fun group with interesting characters
4. 3rd ed DnD I am GMing this game, I am having fun with the rules, pitting the players against many different DnD monsters... the stranger the better.

ROLEMASTER
WARHAMMER FANTASY ROLE PLAY

GURPS: WW2
At least these, can't remember everyone :).

I'm going to throw some out there that I have not seen:
Cosmic Encounter - Mayfair Games version
If you have never played this game, I HIGHLY recommended it for those who love games where every rule, power, card breaks another rule, power, card. One alien power's objective is to lose. For by losing, they win!
Fortress America
Axis and Allies
Diplomacy
Tribond - try it, you'll like it.
Candy Land - ok, so this was more my daughter's choice.

For Roleplaying, I play a game called the Everlasting. It is a lot like White Wolf, but the setting is more loose and the characters a lot more interesting.
For card games, I like Spheres of Ascension. It is a Tarot Card game. I don't know if anyone can find it, but it is really fun, and a great challenge.
Now comes a really funky idea: Bridge. You know, the game that people played in the 50's and has that wierd article in the newspaper? Very fun game.
I always called them Bored Games. I am not a fan, but Fortress America, Civilization, and Settlers of Catan were okay the first couple times.
For computer games, I am still hooked on Diablo II. Kind of old (three years or more), but still available. Much fun, my wife even likes it.

Bridge is good, but I like Spades better. The problem I have with bridge is that one person has to sit out every hand and do nothing while their partner figures out how to play out the hand.

I prefer Bridge to Spades, as you get to pick trump. I never minded the sitting out part, it lets you get up and move around, get a snack, whatever. My brother hated that part, though, so won't play the game.
I know 2 different types of pitch (4/5 point, 10/12 point), and a variant of the second type. People stopped playing with a friend of mine and I when we were playing 4 point pitch, took all four points and didn't have the bid. Our opponents were a little annoyed. :D

Another card game in this family that I quite honestly adore is Rook. I've always wanted to learn Bridge though, just so I could understand the newspaper "box score". By the by, why is it always by the comics? Because frankly . . . it's not funny. :)
