TE Battle Armor repair and maintenance questions

Battle Armor repair and maintenance:

I am putting together a "Terran Empire" campaign and I'm having a hard time with armor.

1) Why doesn't the battle armors listed (including the Dracon) have a DEF instead of a PD/ED.

2) What skills/materials are needed to repair said armors

3) Do you need a certain skill to effectively use the armors

4) How much do these bad boys weigh?

1. Because they're not Vehicles. Armor worn by character provides PD and ED.

2. An appropriate PS would do the trick. Maybe Electronics in a pinch.

3. No, other than WFs re: the associated weaponry.

4. However much you think is appropriate for your game. I'd guess they're far too heavy for a person to lift unaided, though -- 400-800 kg, perhaps.
